With the onset of monsoon, the rise in infections and diseases is common. Our immunity is constantly under threat and overworked fighting diseases.
Here are a few do’s and don’ts for keeping your immunity strong :
Do’s -

Haldi kesar milk - have haldi milk with a strand of kesar every night before sleeping. Both haldi and kesar contain potent antioxidants (curcuminoids in haldi and carotenoids in kesar) that boost immunity.
Ginger - add freshly grated ginger to your tea or have soonth (dry ginger powder) ladoos daily. Ginger has antioxidant properties, particularly for fighting upper respiratory tract infections.
Amla chyawanprash - take 1 tsp everyday either with breakfast or with milk at night. Amla contains Vit C which is a strong antioxidant to combat seasonal flu & viral infection.
Don’ts -
Don’t eat raw food - cooking ensures all harmful bacteria and germs on your food are killed.
Don’t eat outside food - eat food that is freshly cooked at home in safe, hygienic environment.
Don’t leave your food uncovered or outside - cover your food at all times and store any leftover food in the fridge. Leaving food uncovered or outside attracts flies and other carriers of infections.
